But in the 19th century, the legend of Medusa changed, and she was recast as a hero rather than a monster. For Gianni Versace, Medusa became a symbol of art, philosophy, and dangerous beauty.
Medusa Lumiére is the fitting name granted to Rosenthal and Versace’s glass- and stemware range, wherein crystal is meticulously blown and worked by hand for an artful, luminous appearance. Versace’s frosted visage of Medusa appears upon the surface of this bowl, for a masterful look and feel that brings instant affluence to the table.
